Downtown Lexington, KY
Sydney and I grew up in the same small town in western KY. She was a friend of my sister and in the band with her, so I kinda got to watch her grow up! I was so excited when her fiance Madi contacted me about doing engagement photos! I could tell they were going to be a fun, love-dovey couple to hang out with!
Originally we had planned to meet up to shoot in our hometown, but with our crazy schedule, it actually worked out perfectly when they were traveling through Lexington! Now, I did live here 10 years ago when I was going to UK, but I still consider myself “new” to town. We started our morning session with some coffee at Third Street Stuff (coolest coffee shop, check them out!) and wondered around from there. I really did have a blast hanging out with Madi + Sydney.. and can’t wait for them to call me when they start planning their wedding!
