It's big deal when someone gets engaged. It's an even bigger deal when it's your baby sister! Leeanna and Matthew are finally engaged, he proposed to her in Cincinnati, OH not even a week ago.
As soon as she told me they were engaged I had already planned for them to come to my house two days later where I set up my portable backdrop, and spent all of the next day creating these construction paper hearts while my son was napping! 😹 We all loved having the valentines day themed backdrop with mimosas!
I also knew we had to hop outside because I couldn't get confetti out of my head for this celebration! (Also see the champagne spray!). That sunset over the hills in my backyard never disappoint with the most spectacular views. It was really cute to get my sister and her lover in front of the camera and treat them like clients. It really is no different from any other time, to be honest. But I definetly felt reignited in why I love shooting couples soooooo much. 😻

PS- This was just the quick "announcement" photo shoot, lol. We are planning a more adventurous session for the summer. Road trips are involved! Stay tuned!
